PJ posted an article not long ago about shoppoing used bookstores for reference material. In that spirit, I thought I would post some of the titles I have in my library. Please feel free to add any other titles you think might be beneficial to others.
Field Guides by Tom Brown, Jr. – There are a number of them ranging over topics like wilderness and urban survival, tracking and useful plants. I have all of them and find them very common sense.
Country Wisdom and Know How.
10 Best Traps
Complete Book of Home Preserving.
FM 21-76 US Army Survival Manual
Ranger Handbook.
Home Depot – Home Improvement 1-2-3
Home Depot Wiring 1-2-3
Culpeper’s Complete Herbal

I like the home preserving book, definitely a good addition to any library.

I used to hate canning season around my Grandma’s house when I was a kid; she lived through the depression and canned everything that wasnt nailed down. Now that I am older and slightly wiser, i see the reasons and uses.
I found out that a good place to find books like this and raising small stock animals (chickens, goats etc) is Tractor Supply. They have a small book section that has a lot of pretty good information on such things, for anyone that is interested in stocking their library.

Thanks J,
I will be checking out the farm supply store not far from here. Great Idea.

I get most of my prep books at the local used book sales. By the end of the sale any remaining books go for pennies. I usually go twice; once at the beginning to get any books I want that may go quickly, and once at the end for bargains
Most of my reference stuff is on digits but I still have several shelves of paper books on the topic
