getting the garden in

Have been getting the garden prepped and in the ground this week and have been reminded that it is a fair amount of work. we all know it in our heads but doing it is another matter. I have not planted enough to live on by any means as I don’t have the space. am experimenting with straw bale gardening this year, will let you know how it works out.

Am going to give canning a whirl this year also, provided I get enough to make it worthwhile. this is more for practice than necessity at this time. As with all skills, they require practice.
