A recent comment on another post had me pondering the feasibility of a DIY Water Well. I found a pretty decent video on the topic and wanted to share. If I didn’t live in Suburbia I would definitely be giving this a go. Besides the videos, lots of information on drilling your own well over at drillyourownwell.com.

Thanks for posting…..looks like we will be digging it ourselves. I’ve called every company in the phone book for wells and none will dig a hand pump well. They acted like I was crazy for asking. Here’s another good video…..he even tests the water from his hand pump well after it’s done.
