Hill Runs

I much prefer short bursts of energy instead of long sustained runs. Sprints, hill runs etc. I suppose if I have to run a marathon while maintaining 5 minute miles after SHTF I’ll just lay down and wait for whatever comes.
That aside I was able to do some hill runs today. I had a stopwatch, each run took about a minute (up and back down). Wait 30 seconds…repeat. Talk about exhausting but really good work. Have to mix it up sometimes for certain.

My weight lifter buddy in the corps used to say “I ain’t running from nobody and I ain’t chasing nobody.”
Im still running the neighborhood. I think it was 15 degrees tonight, but I still did it. Maybe next time I’ll go for hills.

Well to be honest I gave up “running” years and years ago, but still an avid walker, it gets the heart up and is easier on the body for me. I can still do a 5 mile walk non stop, so guess not so bad for an OLD FART huh???
