Who: We are a group of 5 families looking to grow our PrepperGroup to about 10 families. Our group includes: 1) Electrical Eng/Physicist and spouse, 2) Mechanical Eng/Contractor and chef/canner spouse, 3) Retired Army MP and spouse, 4) Retired Counter-Intelligence Agent/IT/Risk Professional and SMB spouse and child.
Organizer is our full-time on-site facility manager. Organizer is a preparedness professional and coordinates site projects and training events.
We are looking for the right 3-5 families to join us. We want members that have preparedness skills and are willing to learn more. We believe in and follow the Ten Commandments. We are not a religious entity, but include members from several faiths and members with no religious affiliation. Politically, we are conservative, in that, the best government is the government that interferes in its citizens lives the least.
Why: In case of societal collapse or wide-spread/prolonged natural disaster we are ready to assist each other thrive on site until society is restored.
What: a 100 acre self-sufficient farm/ranch. Well, water storage, 75 acre pasture, 3 acre garden, fruit trees, berry vines, perennial garden, perimeter fence, interior fencing. Overlooks key-terrain observing access for 40 miles.
Complete projects: Chicken coop, Rabbit hutch, above-ground storage sheds, building materials, greenhouse, well, water storage, archery/firearms range, (solar power in reserve).
Current projects: RV parking pads, goat shed, workshop (elec, lighting, air compressor, heat… complete)
Planned projects: within 1 year – cattle shed, outdoor community kitchen/rec area, fish pond/natural swimming pool, wind power
When: Now – We are looking for the right prospective members now. As a group, we feel that time is short and we need to be fully ready as soon as possible. As a group, we have looked for an appropriate site for over 2 years and this site meets or exceeds all of our requirements.
Where: Centrally located in a large valley (limited access – surrounded by mountains) between Salt Lake City and St George, UT. Rural area with self-sufficient farm/ranch/dairy neighbors. Surrounds includes BLM, state and federal rangeland and forests. Timber permits available through local govt for $40 per year. Three stocked public reservoirs within 15 miles (avg size 300 acres). Approximately 35 and 45 miles to two different cities. 7 and 15 miles to two small towns.
How: We have a detailed plan and approved applicants will receive a thorough in-briefing upon approval. Approved applicants (approved or denied on a family unit basis) enter a probationary status. At this point all funds are due ($2500) and the probationary status allows probationers and group members to get to know each other at site events. Planning, coordinating and training meetings will be scheduled with probationary applicants.
    Application:
Ethics – You may not lie, cheat or steal to/from a group member. You may not sow divisiveness.
Investment – You must provide $2000 to purchase unlimited access to group location. Provide an additional $500 for construction materials and infrastructure. Provide additional funds to support projects agreed to by all of the members.
Investment – Provide your own time/effort to community projects and for your own family lot at least 16 hours per month or 192 hours per year.
Conditions – You must work/reside within 350 miles of St George Utah. This requirement is for you – if you were to relocate to our site, we want you within a reasonable evacuation distance. Full membership in our group is conditioned on a unanimous vote during the probationary period.
Contract – I guarantee members access to the entire site at any time with one caveat. Entry into my home is by invitation. This is not a corporation nor a public entity and membership or denial is solely at the discretion of current members.
Applicants please provide a biography outlining your preparedness/survival related skills and experiences. Include the names, ages and any/all limitations of each family member. Email application to PrepperGroup@gmail.com
