    Here’s what I don’t get.

“you need to vote for X candidate so Y candidate doesn’t get elected.”

Essentially meaning that even if you don’t care for (McCain or Romney) you should vote for them anyways just so O doesn’t win.

Sorry…doesn’t work like that. Ron Paul might not stand a chance, but he’d get my vote before Romney any day of the week.

Republicrats….that’s what I call them. More alike than different.

Today’s workout was awesome, I really enjoy circuit type events because it’s muscular strength combined with cardio/endurance. It’s one thing to do a lift and wait 3 minutes, do another lift etc. But when you combine 4 or 5 lifts for 4 circuits with very little breaks it can be exhausting.

The last circuit today included rope pulls, weighted ax swings, and 20lb ball throws and slams. It’s unreal how much energy this type of stuff takes, so much more than traditional gym workouts.

I’m liking this poncho / boonie hat deal at the sportsman’s guide. Can’t have too many ponchos

Thanks Brandon, he is a great looking dog. I’ve had cars stop on the street so people could compliment how he looked. Problem is I think he knows it….

It’s funny you should mention laying out your BoB, I do it a few times a year for all 3 of ours and every time things change. It seems as if there is never a 100% correct formula.

That’s hilarious you could ride him like a horse and it’s cool you lived on a farm. One of the people I work with has a shepherd and she lives on a farm. She says he is cool with the chickens and goats but if one gets out he’ll kill it. He also kills deer and brings them back. That’s crazy!

I hope to have some land here soon where my boy can run and play, the guy has tons of energy which doesn’t get utilized even though I try to walk him (and will be running with him soon).

As for their mentality I’ve read they are pretty much fearless, I guess that’s why they (and Belgians) are used so much in police / mil work.

Just an FYI, I got a note that it’s BACON MONTH over at CampingSurvival.com. I am a fan of bacon, always wondered what a can of Yoder’s would taste like. Let me know if anyone picks up a can or has tried it previously

If there was one knot which I’ve used successfully over and over again it would be the bowline. Once you figure out how to tie it you’ll come up with ways to use it, this I promise you.

You all bring up some great points and I won’t even attempt to make a qualified response which provides the level of insight you all have. It’s very clear that at the strategic and higher (world leader?) level these decisions and tactics are super complicated and the 2nd and 3rd order effects can be huge.

I didn’t realize Putin was former Spetznatz…those guys eat rusty nails for breakfast.
