You might be a Prepper if…

Saturdays are good for relaxing, running errands, spending time with family and going down to the basement in order to marvel at your prep stash.  I mean seriously you can’t tell me that you have never just stood there for 5 or 10 minutes after you completed your last inventory, just thinking to yourself: “oh yea…heck yea buddy….mmhhhm…lookin real good.”  Anyways I realize you don’t have lots of time to spend reading a long drawn out article, so I came up with this list which you might enjoy.  From one Prepper to another it’s time to come to grips with who we are!

You might be a Prepper if…

1. When people you don’t know too well talk about SHTF or crazy preppers, you play along and appear to be inquisitive. “What’s SHTF mean, what’s all this stuff about doomsday preppers? Yea, those people gotta be crazy! “
2. Your UPS and FEDEX guy know. THEY. KNOW.
3. Your spouse has told you this: “No I’m not buying you a rocket stove or wheat grinder for your birthday, pick something else…and do you seriously have to wear those cargo pants and hiking boots every time we go out?”
4. The bookmarks toolbar on the top of your computer screen starts with this: Survivorblog.
5. Facebook was something you gave up long ago (or never even started).
6. One Second After, Patriots, Lucifer’s Hammer, Alas Babylon…all books in your collection.
7. Your neighbor wants a new BMW and flat screen TV, you want a root cellar and another 1 year supply of freeze dried food.
8. You own guns and you shoot them, quite often.
9. Leaving your home without your gun pressing against your hip is like….well you wouldn’t know because it doesn’t happen.
10. You have watched Doomsday Preppers on Nat Geo, you were somewhat disappointed in what you saw.
11. You have made the following statement: “When I finally fill up this shelf/safe/room with supplies that’s it, I’ll finally be done.” You filled it up, you aren’t done.
12. 100T in unfunded liabilities, 16T in debt, 1T in yearly deficits for 5 concurrent years, QE3, Sequestration…all things you are very much aware of.
13. You have texted one of the following acronyms to someone else within the last few days: OPSEC, SITREP, EDC, EMP, MSM, SHTF, TEOTWAWKI, WROL.
